Day 8 "The Essence of Japan"

 

Now this is Japan in my mind's greatest stereotype:

This is a advertising sign for a buffet in Japan.  If you look closely at the 90 and 60 the character after that is minutes.  That's right, they will count how many minutes you've been eating.  Ahhh remember, every place I went to was a tourist trap.  They must be very accustomed to fat tourists eating all their food.  There aren't many buffets in Japan at least, none that I saw.  I think there were only 3.  In either case I still don't know why 90 min is more than 2x the 60 min. one.

This is the Japanese money shot.  It's the picture that you always see when you see Japan on pamphlets and travel magazines.  It's kind of like the New York skyline only it glows.
