Day 8 "Go America"

A couple of days ago I was sitting on the bus while it was driving around and I look out the window to what do I see?  A 1968 Chevy SS.  Actually I don't know if it was a 68 or not but it certainly looked like it was from that era but knowing the Japanese they put some mods on it.  It kind of looked like this:

In either case while we were driving by and I was unable to whip out the camera fast enough to snap a picture.  However I WAS fast enough to snap this picture while we were walking down the hill from "Euro Japan":

Ahhh it was almost like seeing home again.  This is probably a 98 mustang or so but man was it loud.  The significance of all this is in America I see a lot of different types of vehicles.  I see American cars, German cars, Italian cars, Japanese cars, and even shitty Korean cars.  What I didn't see in Japan was the same thing.  In Japan every drove toyota.  Hell I drive a toyota.  In Japan toyota account for about 1 in every 3 cars.  The rest are maybe isuzu or mazda.  Not a whole lot of hondas though.  There were some BMW's but no American cars with the exception of these two.  These two did represent well though, man, they were so loud... made a tear come to my eye.
