Day 6 "Japanese Size"
I don't think I've emphasized yet how much of an inconvenience it is for me to walk around Japan. Sure you may have been reading along and thought, "wow, how does Chinky get around?" I assure you it's not without some degree of difficulty. See what I do for my art?
Here's a picture of my mom and a bamboo forest: The bamboo forest was very nice. Even though it was a blisteringly hot day the bamboo was able to, with some sort of Japanese nature magic, make everything nice and cool. After looking at it with much concentration I finally figured out the "Japanese nature magic." They grow so densely together to such a height that even though they grow straight up and have no leaves they can still block out the sun. Neat trick eh? You can only see patches of sunlight while walking through the bamboo. I can only assume that a panda came by and ate those parts of the bamboo, even though pandas are originally from China. Who else would want to eat bamboo? ... Ok besides me. Speaking of me here's the comparison: Yeah, freakin' huge. Ok here's a picture of the bus we were driving around in: That's our driver... ummm Kabuto? No, Sabado... no wait that's Saturday in Spanish... Oh geez it was a really Japanese name... Anyways here's our driver, I don't remember his name. Here's me next to him: Yes every Japanese person probably on average only came up to my navel. I was probably really the size of the bus. Every time I got off the bus it felt like I was being born again. Let me tell you it's not a great feeling. No wonder babies cry when they pop out. What a miserable experience that is. To add on it cold and their naked. Well when I stepped off the bus it was usually hot and I wasn't allowed to get anymore nekkid. Which, made me want to cry. But I did get my opportunity when the typhoon hit Japan the next day. But that's the next day and I still have to finish up this day. But look, if you like you can print out these pictures cut me out along the dotted lines tape me to a popsicle stick and you too can have Chinky run around in Japan adventures. All you have to do is act really big all the time, be loud, defy social norms and eat everything!
