Day 5 "My Hotel (con'd)"

So we did a lot of playing around while we were exploring...  Like I said before there are a lot of pretty things to see and play with at the hotel.  It wasn't just me playing around...

"Wanna take a look through my one-eyed telescope?"

My parents did some playing around too...

"Hey wasn't Romeo and Juliet supposed to be the other way around?"

And then there was the inside of the hotel which was just lovely as well.  But it wasn't as enjoyable as the public bath house.  Let me tell you about the public bath house.

You go in and there's this area where you can get to your nekkidest.  Then there's a locker area where you can put your valuables and such.  A key is provided that you can keep around your wrist.  Sometime they will provide you with towels and sometimes you have to bring your own.  But you go in and it looks very much like an American public bathroom, only cleaner.  MUCH MUCH MUCH CLEANER.  At this point you're walking barefoot.  There are sinks, toilets and whatnot here.  Then you go through some doors and there are the "showering areas."  It is here that you go about and wash yourself.  There is a little seat for you (side note: if there's a choice between a wooden seat and a plastic seat take the plastic seat.  The wooden seat gets really slippery.) where you can sit and wash yourself.  In front of you there's a mirror and there's body wash, shampoo and conditioner.  You go about washing yourself and try not to look at all the nekkid people around you.  The baths of course are separated by mens and womens which makes me really wish that I was a lesbian.  No matter.  There are also co-ed ones so I hear but the only people that go to that are the senior citizens.  Well after you're done washing yourself you can then go and soak.  They have this giant hot tub where you can sit and... well, soak I guess.  Supposedly the Japanese if they can do this 3 times a day.  Once in the morning, once before dinner, and once before bed.  I don't think everyone DOES do this but if they had the chance I bet they would.  It was really enjoyable and relaxing.
